Circular 0001 – Message from the Secretariat
1. The Registrar and entire members of staff of CIOTA use this medium to wish the president/ Chairman governing council, members of council, Executive committee, chairman and members of sub – committee and all members of the institute happy and prosperous new year.
2. The Secretariat also congratulate the president, council, EXCO and all members of the Institute for the achievement recorded during the 3rd National transport summit held between 6th – 8th December 2021.
3. The Secretariat will in the year 2022, introduced news Circular to be issued periodically by the Institute to presents information and news to all members to shared relevant and valuable information and give up to date news and event from the Secretariat.
4. The WhatsApp group both official and social which has in the past served as a medium of information dissemination between the Institute and members can only accommodate 250 out of over 1,500 members. Hence, it is not sufficient enough to allow for additional members going by the growing numbers of inductees and activities of the Institute.
5. In line with the foregoing, the Secretariat hereby urges members to kindly join / migrate to our existing Chartered Institute of Transport Administration of Nigeria TELEGRAM group which has the capacity to accommodate over two thousand (2,000) members. The administrators of the group are the Registrar, Admin manager, National Publicity Secretary and Provost.
6. Secondly, the year 2022 Programme Calendar is undergoing review and will be released to members and stakeholders as soon as it is approved. The programme Calendar as may be released will position the Institute for busy and prosperous activities for the year. The Secretariat will henceforth keep members informed of activities and program to be accomplished through this circular as at when required.
7. Finally, the Secretariat is open for suggestions, advice, constructive criticism and visitations by members for dialogue on way forward.
